One question for you, is the DIC display also dim when the HVAC display is dim. If not, then the HVAC display fix is for you otherwise there is a light sensor at the top of the DIC controller that is dying. This is for display issues during the daytime. If your HVAC display is dim at night, its that display and not the other.
