Default G5X1 & G5X1-E what is the difference?

Guys,
Doing a cam project and a 228 cam is what I am going to go with over the 224/228. What is the difference between the g5x1 & g5x1-E?

They call the "E" the executive model, I am assuming smoother idle but it's still listed either 112/114 so what's the difference?

My understanding is that the "E" stands for "emissions"...meaning the car will still pass a CA emissions test (sniffer and visual), provided you don't let the smog tech know you installed a cam.

Ok, so then they are decreasing the overlap by changing the LSA to what 116, why dont they just say that? I would rather have the 224/228 on a 114+1 which will pass smog and have more low end. I am thinking a 116 LSA would make that size of a cam a litte too soft on the low end.
