Default Newer computer in a 97 Vette help

looking for info on putting a later model ecu in a 97 vette. Is it possible? What does it take? What all will I need to change? need some expert advice here or at least some one who has done it.

I am thinking 98 99 2000 ecu let me know what you think.

What is the ultimate goal of doing it? If it is so you can adjust some settings (I know the 97 is limited for some things) consider buying a dyno tune with the money instead. With the software they have they might be able to meet or exceed what you want to do for less money and without all the wire cutting.

I turbocharged my car and I am at the limits of my maf.. Newer ecu will let me eliminate maf and go with a 2 or 3 bar map sensor.

98 will be the same as your 97 PCM.
The later model PCM will allow way more resolution for tuning.

I just had mine changed to a 2002 by EFI Alchemy and even though we're sorting through some issues now I can see a great improvement over all.
