Default Spark plug diagnosis help

Currently changing out my plugs. This one came out of Cylinder #5. There is some oil residue where the plug seats. The other plugs so far have looked typical. As a side note which is probably unrelated, the plug wire practically disintegrated when I grabbed it near the boot. Could it have been as simple as the plug not having been tight enough? Any thoughts on if this is a problem?

I just changed plugs and wires in my car. When removing the plugs they felt like they were installed with an impact! The wires came off with some force, but none of them broke or were damaged.

Default who installed the plugs?

Who installed the plugs? Normally a little oil or anti-seize is applied to plug threads , particulary when installed on aluminum heads ( so as not to gall). Is there oil on the exterior of the heads? How tight were the plugs when you removed them? Taper seat plug torque 10-20 ft #s

The ceramic electrode insulator looks good ( a nice light tan color).

No carbon build up on the gound post.

The plug wire break down is heat oriented and you may consider some cool plug boot covers (heat resistant)

What's the gap? Perhaps it's the pic, but it appears excessive.

Not sure, they may be the originals. I'm not the original owner so I don't know for sure. None of the other plugs have had this residue on them. I inspected the opening around the head with a mirror while the plug was out and I didn't see any oil or discoloration.

They were pretty tight. Took a good bit of effort to break them free. This one may have been a little less torque to remove, but I'm not sure. All the new ones have anti-seize on them

excessive gap probably helped cause a misfire along with the bad wire
