Hey every-one. I am having a problem lowering the front of the f45 suspension. Im backing the bolts out counter clockwise, but i dont get very far with out the bolt running into the sensor and shock assembly itself. After it was said and done, and after driving about 40 miles, the front only sat 1/4 inch lower. Am i missing something? Its almost as if it didnt do anything?

It's been a while since I lowered my car, a few years now actually. I can't imagine what you're talking about because the bolt you need to adjust is nowhere near hitting the obstacles you're mentioning. I don't want to seem insulting, but are you trying to turn the correct bolt?
Yes, i am turning the correct bolt. Its the only bolt connected to the leaf spring and a-arm that also includes a bushing. I am also using the help of an individual that has only lowered c5 z06's and not any f45 cars.
Notice the first few paragraphs mentioning issues with the F45 Suspension.
Thanks for the link. I have previously read this article before attempting the small project, but it still doesn't mention my problem about the 10mm bolt, which is angled enough to easily rub up against the strut/sensor in the front of the vehicle. Even if i removed the strut, unwinded the bolt, and re-attached, it will come in contact with the strut.
We tested to see if it was the angle of the leaf spring from applying pressure to loosen the bushing/bolt, but alas, it was nearly the same when the front end was settled at ride height. The bolts were nice and loose when i attempted to turn them, but i wasn't able to move them much, thus the 1/4" drop in the front, if that.

Take some pics so we can see what you are talking about specifically, then maybe we can help you.
You may not be able to lower all the way down on stock bolts, I found that I had to adjust mine several times to get the car as low as possible while retaining function of the F45 system.
I lowered my wifes f45 all the way and and it still rides as it did before i lowered it. I got about 1 inch and a quarter lowered in the front. It look good. Here f45 lowered more then my Z-51 suspention..
