The mileage on an engine is not a barometer for oil pressure....especially when the condition of the engine is unknown....how well maintained it is/was, etc. The pressures you report sound normal, but more specifics are needed such as: cold start, operating temp, WOT v/s cruise, etc.

So, in my case, when I start the car in the morning, I see 40-45 (1200 rpm). Once I get to work I see between 25-35 (1200rpm). Thanks
