TPS code 1221 problem solved
I've been dealing with code 1221 TPS problems for some time now,I pretty much figured out what the problem is now,just need to figure how to correct it,I'll take any suggestions you guys can come up with.
So what I came up with is,my injection system is getting fluid up through the shaft on the thottle body blade and going up into my TPS,I know this for sure after today right before I got home I got on the throttle just enough to get my injection to spray,I stopped at my inlaws house for a couple minutes and when i left and drove home 1 minute away my car went into reduced engine power,so I took my TPS off right away and found washer fluid in it (i use -20 washer fluid as it is 50% meth) and my TPS was soaked with it,I sprayed it out with fast dry brake clean and blew it out with compressed air and reinstalled it and now my car is NOT showing REP.I think I'll try to install a o-ring and see if I can stop the fluid from coming up through the throttle body blade shaft,I talked to Bill C and that is what he thought I should try and do,any other thoughts?
