I'm about to take the plunge and install a cam shaft, and LS6 intake manifold and was wondering about the under drive pulley. First, who has the pulley in stock ready to ship? (the car goes under the wrench on 9 Apr). Second, does it come with belts? Third, if a belt breaks 6 months from now, how can I get a replacement?
Many of the Forum Mall vendors have the pulley in stock. Some of them do come with belts and the bolt to install it. If you need replacement belts in the future, they are available at any automotive store in your area.
you can get pulleys at any autoparts store. They have incremental lengths to fit pretty much every variation. On my car, I run a 10% underdrive aluminum pulley from ATI (without the A/C pulley), and due to it throwing belts, I had to replace the stock tensioner with the Katech tensioner.

What do the under drive pulley's give you on the dyno? Are they worth the money and time and labor?? What purpose do they serve?? Especially for street and strip? Thanks in advance for your help. Whiteboy :chevy
