Default lowering bolt/nuts

If I am standing at the rear, looking downward, which direction should I turn the height adjustment nuts to lower - CW or CCW?

Also, what size is the nut? The instruction manual is no help. It shows the nuts alright, but doesn't state which direction to turn to raise or lower, nor the nut size. Typical manual.

Thanx in advance, guys!

Size of wrench 21mm or 13/16 (same/same). Grab your wrenches (everything bigger than 18mm and/or 3/4 cause you're going to need 2 of them. There hasn't been a manual made that tells you what size tool you need for wrenchin on a car.

You will need a backup wrench to hold the bolt head under the spring.

Rightsey tightsey, leftsey losey but loose at extremes sometimes isn't better.
