Hardly secret; this is in the owner's manual. "Competition mode" deactivates traction control, but leaves Active Handling engaged; there's no horsepower difference or anything like that. Competition Mode is great for new 'Vette drivers on a road course, but it's pretty much useless the rest of the time.
Here is one for you...if you drive with the turn signal on for more that say 10 or 12 miles a loud buzzer is activated and if you ignore that the LEDs in the third brake light start scrolling the words "driver asleep at the wheel, beware"
For an extra 50 horsepower, push the 1 and 3 buttons on the radio while rapidly stomping on the brake pad. Then flip the left turn signal and open the fuel door. Finally, turn on the emergency flashers and put the windshield wipers on the fastest setting at exactly the same time. "Extra 50 HP" will display in the DIC. If you don't see this text, repeat the process until you see this code.
:D
HEY, I tried it on my way home from work and it worked but mine said 100rwhp added. But I could not use it, I was in rush hour traffic and everyone was looking at me. LOL
