Default New Monster Level 2 Clutch

I just got most of the stuff for a clutch swap. I got the monster level 2.

It's not a dual friction any more. I contacted Steve from Monster clutch, thinking i got the wrong friction disc. He says they changed the design for a smoother engagement, but still holds 525hp.

Update: The disc is full Kevlar both sides

Check out the pics:

Looks nice. Same clutch I am getting ready to get. Are you replacing the slave cylinder while you are in there?

Yes, I got the complete clutch package from Tick that includes the clutch, pressure plate, slave, bearing and Tick master. I also ordered the torque tube bushings (one rubber, one solid) from Mike Yeager.

Unfortunately, this is a very expensive job. All told, I'm at nearly $1400 for just parts and fluids I'm doing the job myself, but I still have to buy a motorcycle lift, which is another $80.

I remember I did the clutch in my Miata - $100 shipped from ebay total.

Did you go with the F-Body slave or the Corvette Slave? Is the motorcycle lift better than Harbor freight trans jacks? Sorry for all the questions, it's difficult for me to phone Tick while at work.
Thanks

I know the kit comes with an Fbody slave. I'm doing the job this weekend, so I haven't used the lift yet. But it only cost $48 after a sale and 20% discount. It looks like its going to work well.
