Oi Filters

What is the current thinking about "the best" oil filter for a C5? Do you stay with the OEM AC standard filter or use one of the premium filters from AC, Purolator or Fram? Is Mobil 1 the "oil of choice"?

I have been using Mobil 1 since I have owned my car. No complaints at all. I like the idea of synthetic fibers made especially for synthetic oil filtration.

Every thing I have found indicates the AC Delco UPF44 is the best one out there. Not available when I did my change, but next change it will get one.

The stock, PF44 is fine if you change it every 3K miles. Amsoil, UPF44, and Mobil 1, (in that order) are the best available filters for the car, IMHO. :) :yesnod:
