EBCM for 2000
Hello
I have my 00 coupe hard top, It had the ABS and traction control lights came on, and the brake padel was pushing my foot for couple of times,
I took the vehicle to the dealership and it stayed there for 3 months, they said that the EBCM was bad and that there is a back up order on that unit from GM. I tried using a company on line that rebuild EBCM's twice and the vehicle is still doing the same thing, the dealership also replaced the wheel hub. the vehicle now is showing ABS and traction when you first start driving. If you stop and resart the engine the light will go off and not come back untill you turn off again. the brake padel is still pushing back every now and then when the lights are on.

use this procedure & give us the code(s) you get so we can better analyze your problem...
with the key in the on position, but the engine not running
push and release the reset button until all messages cleared
next push and HOLD button #4
next push and release button #1 four times while holding button #4
When first engaged the on-board diagnostics go into an "automatic" mode which shows all parameters: PCM-TCS-RTD-BCM-IPC-radio-HVAC-LDCM-RDCM-SCM-RFA. If there are no problems, you will see "no more codes" on the ICP display. The computer will show two kinds of codes, "current" and "history," designated "C" or "H". A current code indicates a malfunction is present in the system whose module is displaying data. A history code indicates a past problem. When the screen displays "manual diagnostics," select the desired module by pressing the "options" button to go forward or the "trip" button to go back. Press "gages" to go forward or "fuel" to go back. To exit the diagnostic mode at any time, press "E/M".
If you want to erase or "clear" codes, press .""reset

Until we see what DTCs you have,,,its a crap shoot on whats wrong. Post your DTCs.
