NEED HELP Quick! Brake Booster.......
I just changed my brake booster on my 2001 due to the TSB on a weak return spring. Now my brake pedal goes to the floor when the car isn't even on with no vacuum. Does anyone know what this could be?
I have a track day tomorrow which I'm leaving for at 4 am. I'm here the whole time. Anyone have any input??????

There is no lost travel inside a booster. You could replace the booster with a broom handle and it would have the same problem. You just have to push harder. If you push the pedal in 1/16", the m/c piston moves 1/16". All the booster does is assist. You probably have air in the m/c. I assume the overall distance from the pedal mount to the end of the m/c pushrod is the same as the old booster.
