Waaa!! Lost both key fob what do i do now?????
Hey all don't ask me how I managed to lose both key fob's nobody is more pissed off than me 'but what do i do now dealer the only way,SHUDDER I hope not

I take it you still have your keys? If not, thats more complicated.
You can also pick fobs up on E Bay. Make sure you get the correct ones for your model year. The fobs transmit to the Door Lock Receiver which is shared with the TPM system. The older cars pre 2001 operate at a different frequency to the newer cars. Your 03 uses the later fobs

hey thanks all.... do they have to be programed or can I set them up myself .Also as I have now but one key do they sell keys AND can they cut them from having JUST the V,I,N. K everybody thanx for the help

Programming Transmitters
1. Turn the ignition to ON.
2. Turn the radio to OFF.
3. Press the RESET button in order to clear any IPC warning messages.
4. Press and release the OPTIONS button on the DIC to scroll through the display options until the IPC display is blank.
5. Press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds.
6. Press the OPTIONS button until FOB TRAINING message is displayed.
7. Press the RESET button in order to begin the programming sequence. The message HOLD LK + UNLK 1ST FOB will be displayed.
8. Simultaneously press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the first transmitter for 15 seconds. The IPC will indicate when that transmitter is programmed and when to proceed to the next. Repeat this procedure for each additional transmitter or press the OPTIONS button to exit.
Yes, the dealer can cut a key just using the VIN but they are a bit pricey.

You can get a replacement key at places like Lowes but you need one with the correct VATS pellet.
The pellet on the key is a specific resistance value. When you turn the key it sends a signal to the BCM which turns on the fuel and lets the car start. If the pellet is wrong it wont start.
To check your key value:
Set your digital volt meter to “ohms mode” and measure the value across the pellet.
The 15 resistor codes are:
Resistance Value (Ohms)
1 0.402 (acceptable range .386-.438)
2 0.523 (acceptable range .502-.564)
3 0.681 (acceptable range .650-.728)
4 0.887 (acceptable range .850-.942)
5 1.130 (acceptable range 1.085-1.195)
6 1.470 (acceptable range 1.411-1.549)
7 1.870 (acceptable range 1.795-1.965)
8 2.370 (acceptable range 2.275-2.485)
9 3.010 (acceptable range 2.890-3.150)
10 3.740 (acceptable range 3.590-3.910)
11 4.750 (acceptable range 4.560-4.960)
12 6.040 (acceptable range 5.798-6.302)
13 7.500 (acceptable range 7.200-7.820)
14 9.530 (acceptable range 9.149-9.931)
15 11.801 (acceptable range 11.320-12.290)
Once you have the value you can get the correct key cut.

I have become the most disorganized person .My late wife(RIP)and I were the odd couple she O.C.D. neat nothing was ever lost or not in it's correct spot, me... a walking disaster...used to come home at night throw my keys anywhere get something to eat..go to bed...and every night the clean up fairys would visit my house ,put my keys on the key rack and clean up And after she died the clean up fairys stopped coming. THATS how you lose both FOB
