Throttle body
What size is the stock throttle body a regular C5 2003 LS1.Will going to a larger size get me any HP or is it a waste of money.My mods are a Blackwing CAI and VR air bridge plus headers and a tune.

78mm. A ported TB isnt going to give you a big gain. You will get a small one, but nothing you will be able to feel.

With those mods on an LS1 you might pick up 2-3 hp. You can send your TB to a company like Lingenfelter that will port it for $100. That's worth it in my opinion.
How much did you spend on your headers and intake including any installation charges and or tuning and divide by the HP you gained from them. If you gain 2 hp from a ported TB you'll probably be in the ballpark of cost per hp from the mods you've already done. It's not much of a gain, but it all adds up and if you add cam and heads later the effectivness of the ported TB will be even more pronounced
