I didn't know that. So all systems that communicate with the PCM will precipitate a code every time the car is shut off?

So today I drove it to the gym. For some time whenever the TC/ABS lights would come on, I would think the steering would be stiffer to turn. I couldn't confirm it and had thought it was just in my head. So today, I fired the car up after leaving the gym and steering seemed stiff. I looked down, sure enough..... the TC/ABS lights were on. I got home and pulled my codes. Codes pulled with the engine running with the TC/ABS lights on.
PCM....P1571 H C & P1644 H C
TCS....NO COMM
BCM....B0844 H C & U1040 H C
IPC....U1040 H C

Does this explain anything???
