Default LG Header Problem

I just installed LG Street Headers on my 2003. The install went well but I have a lot of leaks for some reason. I am thinking that I have the sections in the wrong order or maybe I have the short pipes with the second O2 bung backwards? There was not a layout provided with the system and it looks different then the LG Sports that I have seen in this forum. I took a guess and put it together in the order...header...cat...short pipe with second bung....x pipe....and cat back. Even with clamps tight the system leaks on both ends of the short pipe with the second bungs on it.

The rear O2's that you have the plug in should be pointing more upward. The lower one if the photo should be about the same angle as the other, sort of at a 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock position. Not sure if that is the issue causing the leaks though.

The slip on fittments leak, plain and simple. Been tons of threads that speak to it and I have experienced it personally as well. Not a huge deal, but slightly annoying......

I've had zero success with those clamps.

I went to the wide band stainless clamps that overlaps the slip fit.

I have found over many years that you never do get a true tight seal on the tubing in these or any exhaust system. I use the wide band Stainless clamps mentioned above and some high temp sealant on the joints. Just a thing film on the male pipe when you slip it in.
