Default Hypertech Power Programmer III (30025) QUESTION???

I got a Hypertech Power Programmer III (30025) used it works but I'm not sure about the performance part it never asks about level of power all it asks for is shift points rev limit fan temp! but nothing about level 1, 2,3 performance does it add fuel and timing?? I know dyno tunes are the better way to go but the car is stock and for $100 i was hoping to gain 10hp! anyone know if it adds anything to the performance?? i do like the shift points and fan control so I'm happy for that and it will program a gear change thanks please help me

I bought a used Hypertech 30025 to use for adjusting my fan settings and shift firmness. I tried the power tune setting, but really didn't see much improvement over the stock tune, so I returned to the stock factory tune setting.

In my opinion, it's worth $100 to be able to adjust the fan settings and shift firmness on my stock C5.

Power Tuning is the first item that it displays in the menu prompts.

It says: "To Install Hypertech Power Tuning, Press Y"
"To Keep Factory Engine Tuning, Press N"

The next items that display in the menu order are Rev Limiter, followed by Cooling Fan Temperature, and Top Speed Limit.

Make sure that your battery is fully charged when you use the Hypertech.

You can get into BIG trouble if the battery voltage goes low when it's writing to the PCM.
