I find that very hard to believe. The Sylvania bulbs that you replaced yourself are OEM bulbs.

Bet they checked the mini fuse and charged you for the bulbs...
How much of your wallet did they steal?

Oh well, I guess another one who asks for advise on the forum, gets it and ignores it, goes to dealer. and pays money.

Why post a problem if you are not going to use the advise given........

So please all those "need help ASAP, FAST" whatever, if you are not going to take the forums advise, then don't waste our time.......

Had to replace one of my DRLs the other day and the thought occured to me that the Ops bulbs may not have been properly seated in the plug. They go in pretty easy but you have to give them a pretty good push to get them to snap fully in. Oh, well, live and learn.

I didnt pay anything, I still have the warranty on my car and they replaced the multifunction switch and both headlight motors last month so they included this.

I checked the fuses, relay, connectors everything... Only thing I probably didnt do was push the bulb in again and double check them. I figured it was the multifuntion switch again, and I have the warranty so why not let them deal with it.

Your turn signals are working now, so I guess that's all that matters.

Ya, posts for help and get the right advice.

Then take it to a dealer and not bother to use the advice.

I agree! Why ask for help when you have no intention of fixing it yourself?

Default Help..

I just got done replacing all of my exterior lights with LEDs. My driver side front blinker was not working (The other side works just fine). Now after replacing the corner lights, daytime running light and amber light work but the blinker action still does not work, I thought replacing the lights would get the blinker to work again but no luck. I put the flash harness in that came with the rear lights, now it doesn't hyper tick at me but the turn signal still doesn't work.

[QUOTE=youzzi714;1574254204]So my front right blinker / daytime running light wasnt working, went to pepboys and got a set of sylvania replacement bulbs, swaped them out and now both fronts are not working, no daytime running or blinkers, when turn signal is on the rear blinker speed is doubled, hazards / emergency lights blink at normal speed but fronts still do not work...

any suggestions?[/QUOTE]

You know the wiring is good from the micro relay 38 to the bulb. So the easiest thing to do is check for 12v (pulsing) at the relay socket that corresponds to contact 87a on the relay....with the MFS in the right turn position. You would want to do this with key on (not start). There is a schematic on the side of the relay, and the contact numbers are on the bottom of the relay, so you can see how the align with the socket. If you have 12v there, you most likely have a bad relay. This could be confirmed by repeating test with the socket jumpered between 87a and 30......or you could just swap the relay with micro relay 40.

Changed bulbs to leds.got hyperflash, got harness, got hazards but no turn , leds are polarity sensitive, will only work one way, cleaned all chassis grounds, verified #15 fuse. Problem ended at hazard switch, corroded pins in switch .
New one solved. Problem
