I just installed LG Street 1 3/4 long tubes with matching x pipe and metal matrix cats on my automatic 2003. I also had it tuned from the guys at ECS. The car is now flat in the mid range but pulls REALLY strong at higher RPM's. It feels like a super charger kicks in but it is not a smooth transistion of power from low to high rpm's. Is that normal or is something not setup right?

Increase in top end sounds right, but not the loss in low end, I would be happy to log a pull on it again to see if theres a false knock or other existing issue causing it.
You recently did the mail order tune for me on this. I am the guy in Gambrills Maryland. Is it possible that something went wrong with the tune? If I slowly push the gas from a standstill there isnt much power until the tranny down shifts then it jumps like a supercharger just kicked in. How to we check whats going on?

Do you have 2:73 gears? Mine was very anemic until I changed to the 3:42's
I have 3.15 rear. How hard is it to change to higher ratio?
Not hard at all. I would just get a Z06 rear or a new one and swap them. Just bolts on to rear of trans but it is a lot of labor and I'd recommend a shop do it. Dont do a gears only swap. Rarely are they ever as quiet as stock after. Still, this shouldnt cause loss off power. You shouldve gained all across the curve. Maybe you should look into the tune you got and deff drive with a data logger to see whats up. If that exhaust is your only mod I dont think you'd gain very much from a tune, at least not for the money.

I would be happy to check the car over here if you have time to come up. I looked at your tune file, and you are spot on, but you might have some false knock from the headers. I have seen that a few times with that brand.
A 3.42 diff is the way to go, but you have stated you lost mid range so something is off I would assume.
While driving today it threw a P1153 code which is the O2 sensor on the passenger side? The sensors are both brand new Bosch rear sensors. Is this a common code with this setup?
