then the gears will feel like a new car!!! and your going to end up doing them anyway so you might as well just get errr done!!

Gears... Powerside output shaft.. and Converter... you can do all that yourself on Jack stands and a Tranny Jack....... While the Car looks intimidating its really just a big toy car that comes apart pretty easy and goes back together the same way!!

Default tire spin

In the spirit of gearing for better 1/4 mi. times... My stock gears don't give me any wheel spin off of the line. I'm hoping for quicker times, but don't want any wheel spin, where's the breaking point for increased wheel spin with non run-flat tires? I wanna go as low of gearing as possible without un needed inconsistancy.

It may not be easy, but it is all about enjoying spending time working on your car. Having a corvette is just like having a wife, help her when she's down and beat it up when she's better.

Cheap, fast, reliable: pick two
No joke, man. For three grand, I'd stay away from nitrous, you'll break your A4.
3.42 carrier is definately a must. Cheap mod, easy to do yourself, does wonder to the SOTP dyno.
Now, a mild cam and LS2 heads ? Maybe, if you can turn a wrench.

I'd go for the diff upgrade.
Beware of the mod bug. You end up upgrading the motor then you need brakes then tranny beefed up etc.
So again cheap, fast, reliable: pick two...
