cat backs do absolutly nothing nothing for horsepower, these are for sound only. The restrictive part of the exhaust is from the catalytic converters foward to the pre pup cats and the stock exhaust manifolds..do you have an auto or manual tranny?? The autos suck up more rwhp than the manual... Predator may give you 10 rwhp and the vararam another 10-15 rwhp.. Bone stock c5 ls1 with an automatic trans is around 290rwhp.. The 6 speeds have around 310rwhp

This is my C5 dyno M6 w/ 3.42 rear end when I first got it. My mods were BPP vortex intake, BPP power duct, and stainless works chambered catbacks.
These mods are similar to yours, but I will have to say the chambered catbacks from Stainless do provide additional go juice with a CAI and it sounds awesome. Unfortunately, when I H/C'd my car it was just too loud for the wife . . . yep, they had to go. I lost 10 RWHP and had to have a retune when I went to TIs. BTW, my original RWHP was 296. Lastly, stock tune on the dyno above. Again, hope this helps.

predator isn't going to add much hp, but in an auto it will turn that granny shifting tranny tune into something a bit more exciting. that's about the only good thing i got out of it.
you can also increase the shift params to your liking.

been a while but scroll thru until you see the tranny options....just raise the settings up to your liking...it's just a sliding scale and it's idiot proof (no offense) you wont break/damage anything!
