That's a pretty healthy cam (not huge, though), but I agree with the above poster.
The key will be being able to tune timing advance and fuel delivery at low speeds...where they run the emissions test. LS1edit or something like that would be an invaluable tool to have.
Some of these bigger cams that have some decent overlap can be interesting to get to pass...even with cats. But its not impossible. It may just take a few swipes of the keyboard in tuning mode. :)
I haev the thunder 224\561 cam with TPIS headers, cats, magnaflow Xpipe and corsa touring on my 6 spd and passed my emissions test in Dallas. I was worried at first becuase it was the most extensive test I have ever seen. I think my car needed a shower or a cigarette after that test. :lol: :lol: :lol:
