B&B Exhaust Welds Breaking
This is my second pair of B&B exhaust that the welds have broke on. Both the welds on the tip output and the exhaust input is breaking again. Has anyone else ran into this problem?
Is there anyway that they could be damaged inside or would welding them back up cure my problem?

Have you called B&B? What do they have to say about this, since it's happened twice to you?

Do you have a photo you could share? While welding stainless the back side of the weld area should have argon gas to purge any air. Not doing so can cause carbide precipitation which is extremely brittle and can cause the weld to fail by cracking.
Chances are it could be repaired if done correctly.

The rear mounting brackets on the older systems were known to break but I thought B&B had taken care of that. Mine did and I had them welded at a muffler shop over a year ago and no problems so far.

I will get some photos as soon as I can. I spoke to B&B and they require receipts and I couldn't tell you where the receipts are. I really like the sound of the B&B but I can't keep replacing them every 3 years

Thanks AntonioZ06! I just got off the phone with Mark, he said to email him some photos and with or without a receipt he would try to take care of the problem. That says a lot for a company like that to go out of their way to stand behind their product, doesn't happen very often anymore.

the 1st generation B&B's (mostly the Bullets) came with thin brackets,,,the 2nd gen (what I have, bullets) are muuuch thicker brackets in comparison,,, and do not bend at all,,,,
all you need to do is weld the brackets with reinforcement steel ...don't think theres any need to replace entire exhaust system

B&B Offered to ship me new hangers - or I could ship them my exhaust and they'd weld on new hangers AND polish the whole system, free of charge.
Just contact B&B - They'll take care of ya.
