It's starting to sound like it might be the ignition switch.
Looks like we have a winner. We ran the power wires down today and found that it looked like it wasn't getting a signal via the ignition switch. When we reached around back, grabbed the ignition swith and wiggled it, we were able to get the unit to power up. Ignition switch on order...................finger crossed, hope that's it.

Mine did a flip flop this past week end. I ran into a thunder storm on the way to Chicago and the outside temp reading went from 92 F down to 62 F in about 1 mile I dropped the window and it did cool off but not 30 degrees. It went from 60 to 65 to 72 back to 65. Really all over the place. Saturday and Sunday it seemed fine. Go figure??
