Weird rpm readings
Hello all, I have a 2001 Z that is running high on the rpms. When I rev the engine at a standstill, the revs go up but seen to slowly come down. At cruising, the car shifts perfectly but when I downshift to a stop, I noticed the spedo is still at 5-7 mph even though the car is stopped, & the tach is at 1200 rpm. When the spedo reaches 0 the tach goes from 1200 to 800. I hope you guys can help me out. I don't know if I am causing any damage to the car. The only mods are Halltech CAI & loudmouths.
