Default Question - Turn signal problem

Sometimes my turn signals will not work, if I turn on my flashers and then turn them off then the turn signals may work for a short time. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

Replace the hazard switch. I ordered mine from GMPartsHouse.com. I think it was $30-$35. The flasher relay that controls the blinkers is located in the switch.

Something else you may want to check. My tail lights completly went out on me and I tracked it down to worn wires. My wire harness, which is exposed in the right rear wheel well, was rubbin on the F45 sensor arm and just plain wore through.

It's the hazard flasher button in the dash. There is a post about this problem and it shows the process of getting it out. Or there is the solution I took - there is a link switch you can use to by pass the hazard switch. I can't recall the name of the place that I bought it from, but there was a link on this forum. One of the posts in your thread, by mrm, sohws tihs piece. It;'s a nice solution, cheap and eay. Getting the flasher out entails removing your console and the radio to access the hazard flasher, ehile installing the just means dropping the panel below the sterring wheel and unplugging and replugging. Sorry I can't recall the source, but you'll find it eventually.

Would my problem have the same solution?? My passenger's side blinkers don't work at all--but Driver's do. Checked the fuse--it's fine..I've been pulled over twice in the past month for it--need to fix it! LOL

You may possibly be talking about the Hyper Flash harness that you install when you swap out some of your lights with LEDs. When you replace them with LEDs your blinkers flash quickly like you have a bad bulb. I read on the forum that the harness could help the no blinker issue also. I bought mine from JWmotoring, he is a vendor here on the forum.
