I just finished up installing a new clutch with new LS6 Master and Slave Cylinders. Upon bleeding the system I noticed no fluid coming from the speed bleeder end, and fluid dripping from under the car. After more inspection I see the fluid is coming from the end of the new master cylinder. Is there an o-ring that goes in there, can the hose be connected at the wrong notch? I was frustrated and stopped for the night, but will resume early AM. Any help is appreciated.
Yes,there is an "O" ring in there, and the fitting is held in place by a rollpin.
It's a special flat-sided "o" ring,if I remember correctly.(so it'll be hard to find if you need to replace it)
Seems like it would be hard to make it leak, unless there's a crack in the plastic.
Maybe you've just got the line that comes out of it in a in a bind or something-check that the fitting goes straight into the master with no side force pulling it one way or the other.
I THINK it's the same "o" ring that is used in the "quick connect",but I'm not sure of that.
