Don't forget to make sure your painter uses a factory color sealer before shooting the red. Red doesn't cover worth a damn so this step is very important for a color match. Also use Dupont Chromabase or PPG DBC (or DBU) if you want a perfect match.
MY painter has custom mix (PPG I think) machines right in his shop. He wants the VIN along with the color code to get the exact blend. He repainted my front bumper cover this past winter and it was a perfect color match to my 13 year old TR FRC.
