Practically fell through my seat.....
In a 2002 Z06.....
I took a seat on the drivers side and almost fell through I swear! I can feel a rail/bar on the left hand side poking me through the leather. (No, my seat was not just happy to see me
)
It feels like a spring or something failed since it is only on the left hand side of the seat.
Anyone repaired this before?

There are no springs under your seats. just the wires and cushion. It maybe the cushion is worn through. If the leather is in good shape you can replace the cushion yourself or at a local shop.

I replaced my foam at 100K, was starting to feel the metal underneath. Got mine from Gene Culley and new seat covers from Vette Essentials. I'm happy after doing, feels totally different now, in a good way.Mike C sends

interesting...I wonder if by luxury the parts catalog is referring to the "sport seats" if so then I think you want the non-luxury version, don't all Z06's have the standard non-sport seats? if you have memory or not is easy to tell, either you've got the memory buttons on the driver's door panel or you don't.
