I had my crank shaft balancer and and seal done (under warranty) at Austin Corvette a while back. They did good work and their labor rate was on par with just about everyone else in town. I had just bought the car and wanted them to give it a once-over to see if I missed anything (besides the balancer). They could've told me anything was wrong, but the only thing they told me was to keep an eye on the accessory belt - it was a bit worn.
They do everything from changing oil to performance mods. Just be sure that you take a drool rag with you! They sometimes have some pretty awesome vettes there gettin' work done.
Iv'e seen their place. I'll run by and visit with them. I've got an arm that doesn't work to good since an accident (not vehicle related) and no lift. I'll have a shop do it. I checked with the shop that as done all our families vehicle maintainces for years and they advise againist it...said it just starts emission problems. I plan to have a tune after installed. Vette is stock with about 24,000+ miles. Inspection due in August.
Thanks for the reolies.
