Put a new corsa pace car cat back on the car last night! It looks and sounds so much better. I was running open pipes but even just starting the car and doing a couple revs I can feel a difference. Drove it in this morning and the drone was gone! Very good and super easy to install.
What is really nice about them is when you are cruising on the highway at 60/70 mph, and there is absolutly no drone, the car sounds great outside and to people in cars around and behind you... You give up a little idle dominance, but just taking a trip makes up for that. Enjoy..

Yeah I'm driving to Indiana from Virginia this weekend so I'm glad the pipes got in before that. I could tell on my way in this morning that it was going to be much better. You are right though, it sounds much better on the outside! People around you still turn their heads. It's great.
I like the backpressuring cackle that happens when I let off the gas after a hard acceleration. It makes it sound like a totally open pipe. But in the pursuit of power I will be putting the corsa X pipe on. And prolly headers in the near future also.
I ordered the catback yesterday(Tiger tips) and I wait delivery... It can't get here fast enough! Still looking at the x-pipe.
I didn't order the x-pipe(yet) but wonder if it really makes a difference? If I'm going to install it, I might want to do it all including the x-pipe just one time.
Yeah I wanted the tiger tips but paying an extra $200-$400 just for them didn't make sense to me. I like what I have now. I'll post a pic of it soon. But yeah the x pipe seems to just help with the effects of flow, not really gong to add power from what I gather.
I got the Daytona tips, which are two huge ovals, but I really like the TS tips, too. The Corsa is really well made, and about as loud as you can get with no drone. Of course if you keep modding your motor, the sound level just keeps going up. A H/C LTs, with HF cats and an X pipe is going to be a screamer with any throttle at all.

Just a heads up, depending on how sensitive your ears are....I went from the Corsa Tigershark "Pace Car" series mufflers down to the "Touring Edition" mufflers when I put my LG street headers, x pipe, and high flow cats on. My car with the "Pace Car" mufflers just bumped up too loud for my taste when I got on it. I was starting to introduce a little droan as well. My LG streets really opened up my vette for flow and sound! I have had them on the car for over a year and they haven't turned color or rusted at all too. I have the LG street headers, high flow cats, x pipe, the Corsa Tigershark "Touring Edition" mufflers and yet my car is louder then my brothers 2001 who has American Racing Headers, high flow cats, x pipe and Corsa "Pace Car" edition mufflers. I do get looks from quite a few people who can't believe mine are the "Touring Edition" mufflers. I love it! It is like a C6's mild to wild without the switch. When I was at a car show I came in all stealth mode and didn't get on it at all. I parked, a guy came over and after seeing my tigershark tips wanted to know if he could hear it. I started it up let it idle and he looked sorta like "oh ok" then I blipped the throttle and gave it a high 4,000 rpm hit. His eyes immediately went

i put my pace car version catback on this morning and I was surprised as to how good it sounded. What surprised me even more was how you couldn't hear it one you got up to highway speeds. It was actually not noticable in the car with the top down. The popping was really loud and that has to go... The Corsa Pace car system is a keeper!
