Looking for a part number
Good day,
It seems I can not describe to the "dealer" what part I need ...good enough. And I do not have access to "diagrams" at this time.
Anyone know the part number for the O-ring seal that seats between the Diff Housing and the transmission?
The dealer keeps quoting me the seat that is around the output shaft into the Diff (#24228816) and that's not what I'm looking for
Thanks!
Michael

So from looking at this... I would guess its "part #11" in diagram that i need?
The big Oring between the diff/tranny. I got a small leak of stinky feet fluid

Try #12458151 which number has been superceded by # 89047954. That is for '97 - '02 don't know what year you have.

Thanks!
well...my chassis is a 97.
But my diff and tranny exploded within a week of each other. So its a T56 with a C5 Diff housing. Inerds are well... not stock
I think the when it was all assembled, the O ring was damaged.
I thought all the C5 stuff was all the same...well at least this portion.
