Hello, New here on this fourm did like an hour and a half of searching on here and other websites and couldnt find an exact answer I am looking for.
I currently own a 97 c5, I am looking to do a ls6 intake manifold swap.. First question was that i already have the bare intake and everything can swap off my ls1 intake directly as far as fuel rail, throttle body, injectors..
I am wondering with the ls6 manifold swap on the ls1 if i NEED to do the valley cover swap as well? I will be grinding the fins off the bottom of the manifold so i can run the stock coolent steam pipes.
As far as the basic swap that is no big deal but I keep reading that there are other small things that need to be changed as well anyone want to enlighten me on these small extra items that need to be ran.
There is an updated vally cover with a better PVC system. If you have the time and cash, I would do it. Other than that, it should be a one for one swap.
