Default X-Pipe question

I have Corsa Pace Car system on my 2002. The motoboat sound @ idle
and popping on de-celleration are not acceptable. Any experience or advice
on Corsa or Basanni X-Pipe & will either correct the above? :(

With my PRTs, the Magnaflow x-pipe made it "growl" a little more low in the RPM range rather than the "motorboat" sound and it took most of the popping out of deceleration. All in all, I am very happy with it. Check out this thread for some more information:

The Magnaflow is a better choice than the Corsa or Bassani in my opinion and from my research here on the forum. I would recommend buying it from the LAPD if you decide to pull the trigger (GREAT prices, GREAT service):

Good luck!

No "real" experience, but any "X" pipe should cut it out for the most part... Well, at least that is the concensus here on the Forum, as I have read over the years.......

The best bet if you are realy unhappy is to loose the Corsa system.

Some people love it, some people don't.... Individual taste will prevail...

I LOVE my Corsa's... :yesnod: I have the x-pipe and mounted it up close for optimum torque. If you want to get rid of tye motorboat burble..It's not the Coras's ..Install a set of Long Tube headers and LOSE the cats! :D

See my homepage for install pics... :)

My Bassani x-pipe cleared up all the burping, etc. on my pretty much stock exhaust setup.

I have the Indys on my 01 six speed: Both will be reduced but not eliminated. I wish the popping were eliminated but I got used to it because I enjoy the other benefits of the Corsa +Xpipe system.

The X-pipe will kill most of the popping sound..... It did in my 00' coupe with B&B's.

I had welded in the X-pipe from CF vendor "Exit 28" Motorsport. Only other mod to stock system is A & A exhaust mod.

These two minor changes( total expense about $215) really improved the sound of the exhaust. I do not think that they effected much performance difference.
