Also, careful of the ARP's, the heads will interfere with some aftermarket clutches. Not sure what you are installing just be sure the new parts are compatible with the ARP bolt head size.
Ain't that the truth. Installed my Centerforce Dual Friction with the F1 Racing flywheel using the ARP bolts I had ordered from Summit and when the car was started I heard an awful screeching noise (went away in about 10-15 secs). Unable to change gears with engine on. Upon disassembly I see the marks on the bolt heads and clutch disk springs. The LS1/LS6 bolts I ordered are taller than stock (the bolt head is thicker, shank length is the same).
Also, I found a picture of the LS2 bolts and they look like the LS6 bolts I removed.....makes me think I made a mistake in my order. Going to visit the ARP website and see if I can figure out what is the problem.
Just visited the website and the part number for LS engines is 330-2902.
