I am having my tranny rebuilt next week. Sooo, I am looking at clutches. I have a '97 C5. Two options are the LuK Z06 ($489) vs. an LS7 Clutch for about $20 bucks more. Both are for sale through Eckler's. Any opinions about which to get? I don't do a LOT of racing, but I do enjoy ripping down the quarter mile at PIR once or twice a year. Thanks in advance, JC.

Ecklers prices are high, the LS7 flywheel assembly is much heavier and could present some balancing issues (run a forum search). The LS6 clutch is fine for what you are using it for as long as you don't go crazy with high RPM launches while running slicks.
