bad MAf or messed up computer?
99 six speed
strange hesitation around 2300 rpm...
i drive nice and easy then move the gas pedal down a little faster as i get close to 2000 rpm then the engine hesitates like the torque control is engaging, but i floor it and it goes away.
with traction control off= it is a little more pronounced. Vette does not have active handling
I cleaned the MAF ..maybe it needs a new one?
also pings like a bitch at high rpms 5000+
like it is running too damn lean, (using chevron premium gas)

Your the third guy with the same issue this week. Check for LAZY or incorrectly working O2 sensors. See what your LTFT are doing
I agree DATA LOG the Engine and see what its doing.
