Can someone tell me what size eye bolts you used to make you lift point pucks?
Thanks
Mark
i'm sure there are different approaches but here's what i did. get real hockey pucks from the sporting goods store and drill a 3/8" hole in the middle. use 3/8x3" eye bolts and they thread into the pucks nice and tight. the 3/8 fits the width of the slot in the car but you have to watch the size of the 'eye' or 'loop'. different manufacturers make the loop different. the loops on mine are 1 5/8" across which fits the length of the slot nicely. my first try was too big to go into the slot, second was too small and didn't lock in very well when twisted in. you simply have to adjust [screw in or out] the height of the loop so you can put the puck up into the slot and turn it a quarter turn a turn to lock it in place. screw the eyebolt in too far: it's not up in the slot far enough, you can't turn it, screw it out too far: it hangs there sloppy. hope that helps. maybe more than you needed.
ok, the link came in while i was still typing, [i'm not that fast]. but at least i know i did it right now. 3/8" fits my slot though, and i may have drilled a slightly smaller hole, but i think the rubber closes back in after you drill it.
