Header Wrap???
I am going twin turbo and was told its best to wrap the headers and xpipe. So i am putting kooks 1 7/8 headers with 3" xpipe no cats on and my questions are this.
1.should i have them coated before wrapping them?
2. does it hurt the life span of the pipes ?

or if just getting them coated will do or both should be done.

Even if you buy them used, you should still check with the manufacturer as to whether doing either or both will reduce the life of the headers. They should know more about this than anyone else.
