hey guys im looking to replace my injectors on my car. car is all stock except for blackwing intake, flowmaster exhaust with x-pipe, shift kit in rebuilt trans, and msd wires. what brand do you guys reccomend and what lbs/hr do i need?
there are plastic pieces on the bottom of the injectors underneath the rubber o-ring that are broken and some are missing. figured i would need new ones. cart has 145k miles.
with the minimum mods that you have there's no reason to put any larger size injector into your car.
If you do put larger injectors in, because you think "bigger is always better", you'll have to get your car re-tuned to match up to the new injector size.
You will gain NOTHING by putting a different size injector than OEM in your car.

I've used this shop for injector service, they come back looking like new:
I agree--- NO NEW INJECTORS !! If you have 28#'s already and without hds/cam you are just asking for throuble--- injector duty cycles dictate if you need larger injectors industry standards usually say as long as your duty cycles are LESS than 80% you are fine---I have STOCK 28# injectors on my apprx 400 RWHP '98 and my DC's are at 90% --but i never run it WOT for a long time to let them overheat--Even on track days at the dragstrip it all works fine.
REMEMBER larger injectors makes the slow speed and idle tuning extremely difficult as well--
