Default Replacing a bulb holder

So I went to replace the bulb in my driver's side DRL/Turn signal, and realized the problem is not the bulb being out, it's the bulb holder. It's mostly dark brown, like it was burnt, and will not securely hold a bulb anymore.

Has anyone replaced one of these before? I can't see a way to pull the wires out to replace just the plastic mount, but maybe someone knows a way? Does anyone know the part number for this piece, and if I can order it separately?

Thanks!

Very simple to do, autozone has the sockets.
Get them yourself, do not ask them to look them up because their computer will not show them.
They are back near the bulbs and other electrical items.
The package says gm 3157 and says it goes up to something like a 96 but they are the exact ones.
be careful and not get the 3156 which is a single filament bulb, you need the dual.
They cost $8 each,

To replace them just get some wire cutters, strippers, crimping tool, heat shrink tubing, and connectors. I used the butt end male and female connectors so that if I ever needed to could just cut the heatshrink and unplug it.
Pay attention to the wires and check and make sure they work before you reinstall.
I bought 2 yesterday for a project I am working on. If you need me to I will go get them and get the exact # off the box or take a pic.

Thanks for the info! Just to be clear, these are the larger ones with the right angle plug and the three pronged insert, one large and two smaller tabs to lock, right?

i would appreciate it if you could post pic or part #. i'm trying to locate the same socket for 2002 TransAm but not having too much luck. I would bet the vette and trans am use the same one. so far only info i've found is that i think it should be AC Delco P/N LS54 and they want $45+ !

I just bought a pack of 3157 to replace a blown bulb. When I pulled the bulb it was a 4157NA. Repeat 4157.

The 3157 is clear, the 4157NA is yellow.

The normal DRL bulb is a 4157NA but a 3157 will work fine. The 4157 is slightly brighter (28.5w vs 27w for the 3157).

the suffix shows the characteristics of the bulb

NA means Natural Amber
LL means Long Life

The bulb is a dual filament bulb. One filament powers the parking lights or DRLs, the other powers the turn signals

This is a picture of the type of bulb holder you need. I'll try to find a part number.

Edit: The ones I have are made by Conduct Tite (from Autozone) and have the part # 85881 - Stop Turn signal GM.

It's a dual filament bulb (4157NA).

There are 3 wires running into the bulb holder
a blue/white wire which is the hot feed for the turn signals
a brown wire which is the hot feed for the parking lights
a black wire which is the common ground
