Default help with fast 102mm install

ok so i finally got around to installing my fast 102 i got from Texas speed and a 90mm TB from pace performance on my 2000 FRC and let me just say i had hell putting this intake on because clearance issues. Down to the point it started just fine, i let it idle for about 5min then i get in to drive it and it starts to bog down or what ever untill its at higher rpms and when i let off the gas it stays idled up for a little bit then finally idles normal so i started looking at everything no leaks and everything was installed correctly but i did notice that the 90mm TB looks like it opens in a different way could that be the problem?

No codes at all and the car has heads, cam, kooks headers, vararam CAI, underdrive pully, electric waterpump, slp exhaust, and built mn6.

You need to have it tuned! When you chage the throttle body size and intake, you must get it tuned before you drive it!

I can take a few cycles for the PCM to relearn the idle - which may or may not help. It certainly sounds like you have an air leak though.

The engine is getting a lot more air flow than before, and may be running way too lean.

Well the car runs fine at idle when I start it and above 2500rpms, the only time it stays idled up is when I come to a complete stop. The wideband was showing 11.1 at wide-open throttle. So could it be just the tune or is it the TB opening in the opposite way?

It's definitely not lean at WOT. It makes no difference which way the TB opens. Could be the tune but I'm still going with a small air leak. When I threw a FAST 90/90 on my 346, it ran fine - better after a tune but it didn't show the issues you're having.

Ok I had just read that the new 90mm TB will not work on a ls1 because of the blade opening the other way so I figured that was the problem. So I will look for leaks then and try to get the car retuned and hopefully that will fix it. Any other ideas if it's not leaking?
