Default HUD will it fit.

I have a C5 98 model & have an apportunity to buy the HUD from a 2000.
What all do I need? Will my instrument cluster work or do I also need that from the 2000.

I haven't been able to find out if my cluster will work or not. I've found where the mod has been done and instructions but nothing that say yes, the 97 or 98 instrument cluster would work.
I don't want to sound as am lazy but I don't have high speed internet because it's not available where I live. I have wildblue which is not very good and it take for ever to download.
I have been trying to upload pictures to my profile and it take so long I fall asleep or it just disconnect.
I love to live out of the city but it has it faults.

I did this on my 98 about a year ago and needed to replace the cluster.
