B+B UNALIGNED TIP PROBLEM MY BE SOLVED

I had called B+B and spoke with them about this problem that I had so they asked me to email them photos of the problem so I did send them a couple of photos from different angles to show them I wasnt nuts. They actually called back and did varify that there was a problem with the passenger side tips not matching up with the drivers side.So the production managers all agreed from the photos that I had sent that ther is a problem and that it would be fixed right away.They are sending me a new passeger side muffler overnight on wednesday so we will see what happens hopefully this is corrected because I really like the sound of the PRTS and the look of the oval slant tips.I will let you guys know how it turns out. Do you have a phone number and name for someone at B&B to talk to? I installed the Route 66 mufflers on my car last year and from the beginning the passenger side muffler has hung down lower than the driver side. The tips look OK, it is just the muffler itself that is low. I would like it to hide up under the rear facia if at all possible, but the way it is now, there is no way that will happen. I would at least like to speak with them about it.

They are sending me a brand new replacement passenger muffler as well! B&B has a customer for life. You can't beat that service with a ten foot pole! :yesnod:

I agree! They also have a long time customer here! :cheers: ....& PRT's Rule for agressive exhaust! :smash: I love mine! the only problem I've had with them is.....MY GAS MILEAGE HAS WENT TO SH-T! :D I can't keep my foot out of WOT! :D :smash: :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

B&B Is top notch for Customer Service. I sent them back some damaged PRTs from an auto accident. And they put them back in the jig, repolished them, and sent them back in great condition. ALL FOR NO CHARGE! :cheers:

My passenger side Quad ovals PRT were also mis-aligned by the pipes being welded at an angle coming out of the muffler. I am exchanging them for Speedway tips instead. Glad to see they recognized the problem.

I had this problem almost 2 years ago. I can't believe they are just now getting around to fixing it! I tried 3 different passenger side sets and they were all angled whereas the drivers side came out straight. The last set was the best so I finally gave up and angled the drivers side to match. Now tips kind of follow the curve of the rear end of the car. If I didn't love the Quad oval tips so much I would have sent the whole mess back and bought Corsa's. Glad to hear they are finally fixing this problem, if a little late! :rolleyes:
