One more thread please. I have read threads until my eyes have crossed so would like to throw this out to the experts.

I seem to have the K Harness installed as per taking off the body pieces and finding the plug in with a white wire instead of the matching orange wires. Reading on it seems some of these were also fitted with a relay on the BCM but I have not found any picture or description of the relay. What it looks like, how many wires, etc.

I have removed the BCM for a look and there are two additional plug ins with mucho wires associated with each. To me these have a look of they are supposed to be there, but did not find any additional relay looking thingies at all. At least on the outside of the BCM. Is it on the inside perhaps?

Guess I'll just pull the K harness out and get my CLB and install per their directions and see what happens?

Oh yeah, something about a purple wire splice?

Don't want to get caught out with things getting locked up and a tow but not familiar enough with this car yet to know that I could screw something up and end up in the same scenario.

Thanks for any clarification on the K harness relay or purple wire.

There's a sticky at the top of the C5 tech page that has almost all if not all you would need to know. I can't speak for him but the originator of that thread might respond to a pm if you are not able to solve your problem from the info already listed. Hope this helps

Thanks for the help. I thought I had the k harness but do not. I do have the purple split wire and relay. Made a jumper wire tonight and will finish up tomorrow.

I will have to have the fuel cutoff thing addressed, yes?
