Gatorback/Comp Cam nightmare!!!

Gatorback/Comp Cam nightmare!!!
Hey guys, I try to do as much reading in the forums as I can so I dont have to be a repeater, but I cant figure this out. I have spent 3 hours trying to get my belt on. I got a new comp cam tensioner and two goodyear gatorback belts. The A/C belt went on fine, but the main one wont! I have tried everything. It just seems to be too short!!!! I then went back to using the old (squeeky) tensioner and it still wont go on. Im using the 4060798 which is the one everyone says is correct. Any help would be great!!! Should I try to stretch the belt some how?

Put the belt over all the pulleys exept for the water pump. Compress the tensioner and slide the belt over the water pump. If that doesn't work then you likely have the belt routed the wrong way.
