Default Electrical Gremlins

Last week I took my 01' Vert in to have all of the necessary fluids changed. I did this because I bought the car last month and I wanted to establish a baseline for the maintenance. I had the oil, coolant, differential (which they found the seals to be bad on it and the driver side axle) fuel system cleaned, 4 wheel alignment done because of new wheels and tires, and finally the oil pressure sending unit replaced. That's the history.. Prior to this trip to the dealership had no issues with the car...

Now.... picked the car up on Friday drove about 220 miles round trip for a cruise in and on the way home the cruise control deactivated twice. Didn't think much about it. Then Saturday went out for a drive and the Oil Pressure wasn't working again... now today while I'm driving the Oil Pressure was bouncing from 80 pegged to 0 back to 80 causing the service engine soon to be displayed on the DIC. Also the service Active Handling came on but after stopping at a buddies house it never came back on. Here were the codes when I checked them at his house.

P 0522 H
C1287 H
B 0516 H

I reset all of the codes and the only one that came back on my drive home was the P 0522 H. Now before I take the car back to the dealership and lose my mind I thought I would seek the advice of the true professionals that belong to this forum... You guys seem to know way more than the idiot at the dealership!!! Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks,
Marc

- Get the car back to the dealer and make them replace or correct the oil sensor issue "P 0522 H Engine oil pressure sensor low voltage" Thats their issue and they should stand behind their repair. Yell scream and bitch if necessary.

- C1287 H Steering Sensor Rate Malfunction. You stated that they did an alignment. When you go staright down a straight flat road,, is the steering wheel pointing perfectly straight up and down. In otherwords, if the wheel needs to be turned to the left or right to get the car to go straight, it will cause that error. If you have to turn the wheel to go straight, make them redo the the alignment and center the steering wheel.!!

- B 0516 H Speedometer Signal Circ Malfunction. Look on the differential and make sure that the electrical connector on the rear of the diff left upper part of the diff is correctly plugged in and the pins are clean and not corroded. Make sure the wires on the connector are in good shape.

Thanks Bill... I had a feeling that it was all related to the service that was performed. This forum rocks!! I went back and stood on the Service Managers desk for a while and explained that none of the problems that are in the car now were there when I brought it in. After shutting the door because I was being a little loud he agreed that they would make it right. I told him that I didn't expect to pay any more for them to make it right. We'll see.
