Column Lock issues
Guys,
I wanted to make sure that I have done everything I can. My column locked about a week ago. Since then I have bought and installed the column lock bypass. The bypass unlocked the column lock, but I am still getting the service column lock message and the pull key, wait ten seconds message error message. The fuel shuts off when I try and move the car. To fix this I have pulled fuse #25 and disconnected the battery. I am getting the battery tested tonight.
If the battery is strong, is my only other option to get HPTuner software and set the fuel cut off to a high MPH? I would rather deal with the source of the service column lock error rather than just do the work around.
Any ideas?
